In this year the 58th Decathlon IMF will be held in Bacau, Romania.

The teams from the Czech Republic, Moldova, Poland, Romania and Ukraine are expected.
On August 12, on the stadium of the antique Olympic Games in Olympia, the 20th Relay of disabled people in Europe ended. This time, the relay run, as its name suggests, traces of ancient Greece led through the most interesting historical places of this country. The start of run take place on August 7 at Mount Olympus and through Meteora, Thermopylae, Delphi, Thebes, Corinth, Mykines, Argos, Kalamata and Agrilos, it reached Olympia. Due to previous fires, we had to avoid the Marathon area. The all route was 1140 km long (220 km from it as run) was divided into 6 stages. Seven teams from five countries participated in the relay; Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland, Romania and Ukraine.
In next year we will celebrate the 20th anniversary of our relay runs. The first relay run started from Vienna in 1999. Of all European countries where we were not yet, there are only three; Belarus, Moldova and Russia.
The 20th edition of the Relay Run of Disabled People across the Europe will run under the slogan: “20. Relay Run of IMF, on the footsteps of ancient Greece. ”
The relay run will start on Mount Olympus and its route will lead through the most interesting places of ancient Greece. They will be Thermopile, Delphi, Thebes, Marathon, the stadium of the first modern Olympics games in Athens, the grave of Agamemnon in Mykenes, Kalamata and the city Agrilos, known for the fabulous castles. The end of the relay run will take place at the ancient stadium of the ancient Olympic Games in Olympia. The relay run start is planned for 7th August 2018, and the route will be divided into seven stages.

As planned, on July 11th. Relay Run of the disabled people came to Nova Gorica, Slovenia.
The start took place on 3 July in Opatja, Croatia. The whole route of 600 kilometers was divided into 9 stages and ran through the towns of Labin, Pula, Rovinj and Poreć in Croatia, Izola in Slovenia, Muggia, Venice and Grado in Italy. The final stage ended in Nova Gorica, Slovenia.
Out of the planned 300 kilometers, for safety reasons we run only 270 kilometers. Mostly it was running around the peninsula of Istria, filled with tourists.
We have been running through Italy in 2002, 2003, 2011 and 2012, and every time, and now, nice Italian police officers are watching over our security.
After the daily portion of the run, participants rested on the Adriatic camps, and also visited the cities of Pula, Rovinj, and especially Venice.
The ceremonial end of the relay took place in Nova Gorica, where the mayor congratulated participants on their success and perseverance.
In the relay run took part 8 teams from the Czech Republic, Poland, Romania and Ukraine took, totaling 72 people.
The relay was completely prepared and led for the 19th time by Jerzy Chrabecki, under the aegis of the organization “Integrative Meetings of Friends” from Austria.
