New faces in the board of IMF

After the Vice-president’s, Pavol Dvorski’s death, elections to the board were brought forward. They took place in Pula, Croatia. Aleksandra Gałka from Nidzica, Poland became a new Vice-president. Anton Merhaut from Novska, Croatia, who has been coordinating IMF in his country, became a secretary.

Dates of 2011 events traditionally organized every year by IMF has been approved

1. The 13th Relay Run around Europe
The next Relay Run of Disable People around Europe will take place on 29 April to 13 May on the following route: Monaco – Corsica – Sardinia – Sicily – Malta – Sicily – Italy. The finishing stage is San Giovanni Rotondo, the square in front of Father Pio’s Sanctuary. We are waiting for your applications.

2. The 51st Decathlon IMF
The next Integrative Decathlon IMF will be held in Izdebnik on 20-24 July 2011. It will be organized by Dom Pomocy Społecznej im. św. Brata Alberta from Wadowice. There will be accompanying events in Wadowice and Inwałd.
Next Decathlons: Kraków 2012 (Poland) and Pula 2013 (Croatia).

3. The 10th meeting of Rynica citizens – Roderbeckertreffen.
The meeting of current and ex- citizens of Rynica will be held traditionally in Rynica (Zachodniopomorskie) on 5-6 August 2011.

4. The 18th “Religion – Culture – Sport”
The main point of “R-C-S” will be ecumenical pilgrimage. Last year the pilgrimage wend abroad for the first time. In Germany it followed the footsteps of Martin Luter: Wittenberg, Mansfeld, Eisleben. The 2011 pilgrimage will start traditionally in Myślibórz, go to Rynica and the Painting of Madonna of Rynica, to Wittenberg (Germany), and back to Poland. The pilgrimage will have its official end in Świebodzin, next to the monument of Christ the King of the Universe (bigger than the one in Rio de Janeiro). 400 km route will be covered in 3 ways: marching, running and by cars. Date: 10-15 August 2011.
