This year on 22 – 23 August the Decathlon of IMF is going to take place in Cracow. The teams will come to Cracow on August 21st.
For the first time we invited people in wheelchairs to participate.
They will fully participate in all competitions of the Decathlon with able-bodied participants, also in “high jump” and “long jump”.
This will be possible thanks to our formula:
DECATHLON IMF IN A WHEELCHAIR? WE`LL MAKE IT POSSIBLE.
What your legs can’t do, your arms will do.
We challenge the able-bodied to compete.

A brief history of the relay runs.
The first Relay Run started from Vienna, in 22 April 1999. Every RR lasted about two weeks. Each subsequent relay began at the end of the previous site. Through the North Cape, Faroe Islands, Iceland, Gibraltar, Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily and Rhodes, 2013 we arrived in Istanbul. So we closed the run around Europe.
Since then relay takes place on selected routes because we haven`t traveled all oft hem yet. Last year it was Serbia`s turn. This year it will be Liechtenstein and Switzerland.
We complemented with a slightly Austria, because even though the initiative came from this country, only one stage was there; Vienna – Laa an der Thaya.
The town Thonon les Bains in France chose the sentiment, because there, in 1963, I ran in the Polish national team in track and field match Poland – France – Italy. Completion in Fuschl an der See is connected with Red Bull, where it has its registered office. In 17 years it took place so 18 RR that defeated the 34.650 km route, with the 14.480 km run. We visited 42 countries and 277 cities where we were hosted hearty. On our way are; France, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Austria. All RR had Honorary Patronage or Welcome Letters of Presidents and the Crowned Heads of Europe.
Between 18th to August 25th lasted 17th relay run of disabled people.
We started in Mohacs Hungary and across Serbia we ran to Bacau in Romania. The whole route had almost 850 kilometers and was divided into 8 stages. We ran from Mohacs to the town Sombor in Serbia and further to the town of Senta.
The first city in Romania was Timisoara and then Deva, Sibiu, Bran, Onesti and Bacau. After Sibiu town Brasov was the next planned place, unfortunately, the city despite repeated requests not granted even a negative response.
However, this wasn’t a problem, because we changed the plan and the route ran through the town of Bran in Transylvania. In this city is the castle of Dracula, which we visited.
After this relay there are two countries left which we haven’t visited (except Moldova, Russia and Belarus), Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Maybe we go there next year?
In the days after the torch relay was held at Bacau the 55.
